On Monday, the film school received a long-distance visit from Globo Studios from Brazil. Globo Studios (Estúdios Globo) is Latin America’s largest audiovisual production center, and the Central Globo de Produção includes three built-up cities, 32 mobile production units for recording, control rooms with 26 cameras, and 10 film studios equipped with top acoustics and advanced lighting technology. Globo Studios produces TV series, children’s programs, humor shows, talk shows, news programs, and sports programs. Almost 90% of Globo’s productions are produced internally, making Globo Brazil’s largest employer for artists, writers, journalists, producers and technicians. Globo Studios came to Stockholm Film School to hear more about our school, about our successful former students, and how we’re working.
