Stockholm Film School Film Festival

Stockholm Film School Festival, a film festival in Stockholm for short films and student films.

The aim is to promote and encourage filmmakers from across the world by giving them the opportunity to showcase film in the Swedish capital at the prestigious school founded in 1984.

We believe that film should be accessible for everyone, which is why our film festival is without any entrance fee or ticket fee.

Awards & Prizes

Best Short Film is awarded €2000

Best Student Film is awarded €1000


Winners will be awarded a special trophy during the annual event in April 20 2024.
Nominated films will receive a laurel.

Our juror panel consists of

Award-winning director, screenwriter and producer Daniel Espinosa, director of Morbius, Life, Safe House and a former Stockholm Film School student.

Award-winning director Anders Rune, Head of School at Stockholm Film School.

Actress and director Marina Nyström, Acting Teacher at Stockholm Film School.

Terms and conditions

Eligibility

Short films must be shorter then 30 minutes.

Student films must be shorter then 30 minutes.

Subtitles
All films must have English subtitles.

Stockholm Film School festival is hereby granted the rights to utilize an excerpt from any film
submitted for promotional and developmental purposes of the festival, during and after the
festival. By submitting your film to the Stockholm Film School Festival the individual or corporation
submitting the film hereby warrants that it is authorized to commit the film for screening if
selected, and understands and accepts these requirements, rules, and regulations.
