Those who want or have already worked as an actor on film know that the first step is often to meet the casting agency. You get to show what you can and quickly convince them that you are the right person for the role.
What do they want? What do they expect from me? How should I behave?
The course is a three-day workshop given in collaboration with Actors Studio Stockholm.

Joakim Nätterkvist is an actor and one of the founders of Actors Studio. Joakim is educated at the Theater Academy (Teaterhögskolan) in Stockholm, and got his big breakthrough as the Knights Templar Arn in the films based on Jan Guillou’s books.
The purpose is that you as an actor should deepen your knowledge in film acting.
We go through what you need to be present on stage or in front of the camera.
This is a workshop focused on acting, role, character and your work with yourself and your fellow actors.
We will work with assigned dialogues on stage and in front of the camera.
We explore the possibilities of the scenes through reading and various exercises.
The course is for you who work as, or are about to start working as an actor for film.
You must have some experience of acting in theater and / or film.
FRIDAY OCTOBER 4 AT 6-9 PM
SATURDAY OCTOBER 5 AT 9 AM – 4 PM (with 1 hour lunch break at noon)
SUNDAY OCTOBER 6 AT 9 AM – 4 PM (with 1 hour lunch break at noon)
Application to participate in the Film School’s course Acting for screen shall be made through the form found on the web page, and be submitted to the school at the given date of deadline (September 20).
Applicants who are admitted to the course will be notified by e-mail to the address submitted in the application.
In connection with the registration, the participant is invoiced the course fee. Only when payment of the course fee has been received at Stockholm Film School is the registration complete.
After completing the course, a course certificate will be issued to the participant.
Total course fee is 3.700 SEK.
The course fee is invoiced via email to the address stated at the registration, with a due date 7 days ahead.
Payment is made by invoice. In case of non-payment, the application is not complete, and the applicant’s place on the course will be offered to other applicants.
If applicants admitted to the course and in addition paid the course fee, choose not to attend the course, the course fee will not be refunded.
