DOCUMENTS TO ATTACH
Please note that no attachment can be larger than 2 MB. Also make sure that the attachments are in the correct file format as stated in the form.
Prepare the following attachments for your application:
- Personal letter, maximum one A4 page
- A photo of yourself
- A film presentation of yourself, maximum two minutes
- A film recording of a scene that shows your acting skill level, maximum five minutes
- A copy of your passport
- A copy of your senior high school certificate

ABOUT STOCKHOLM FILM SCHOOL
Stockholm Film School (Stockholms Filmskola) is a non-profit association with corporate identity number 802014-4187, which conducts educational activities without yielding profit. The education is financed exclusively via tuition fees.The film school has statutes, a board and an employed artistic leader/principal. The film school owns certain technical equipment and employs requisite teachers.
ADMISSION TO EDUCATION
The program starts twice a year; in January and in August. Application to participate in the film school’s education shall be done in the application form and be provided to the school by or before the date stated on the web page.
Applicants who are admitted to the school are informed by e-mail to the address submitted in the application. Together with the admission notification, the applicant’s admission fee is also invoiced. At the latest 7 days after receiving the admission notification the admission fee of €600 must be paid to the school’s bank account.
When the admission fee has reached the school, the admission is definite. If the admission fee is not paid on time the admission is rendered void, and the ensuing vacancy is filled by another applicant.
TUITION FEE
The total tuition fee for the international program per school year is €13.900. In order to accept the offer and secure your place at Stockholm Film School it is necessary to pay the fees and charges due as indicated in the admission letter.
CONDITIONS OF PAYMENT
At admission, the student will be invoiced the first instalment (admission fee) of their tuition cost of €600, with due date 7 days ahead. When the admission fee is received by the school, the admission is definite and the student has reserved their vacancy. The second instalment of €13,300 has to be paid before the beginning of the school year according to invoice sent to the student. When nonpayment according to invoice occurs, statutory fees will be added. All invoices are sent via email to the address submitted in the application.
If an applicant who has been accepted to the school and paid the first instalment decides, of any reason, not to start the course, the film school must be notified in writing by e-mail as soon as possible, at the very latest 30 days before the program starts, or s/he is obliged to pay the remaining tuition fee of €13,300 according with the sent invoices. The first instalment of €600 is non-refundable.
