Those who have begun to take the first serious steps towards filmmaking certainly know how difficult it is to move on to a higher level on their own. Film is a collective art form. You need knowledge, you need practice and you need a network of like-minded people to get the better results and at a higher level.

The course teaches the basics of all occupations: script, direction, cinematography, sound, editing, production. The course gives you training in script writing and teaches short film dramaturgy. You get to practice personal instruction, scene capture and converting a script into a movie. You learn the basics of film photography; imaging, camera functions and lighting. You will learn how to handle lights, filters and camera equipment, make storyboards and plan a recording imagewise.
The course teaches you how to handle different sound recording equipments and how to handle and select the right microphone. You will learn how to apply for funding for your film idea. How do you pitch a movie for a financier/consultant etc.? How do you develop a film idea? How do you make a movie budget? The course gives you practice in making movies with other people.
The classes are held in the evenings, at 18:00 – 21:00, during 10 weeks
Number of class hours: approximately 90 hours + own work

Course fee: 24.000 SEK. There is a possibility to partial payments.
The course is for those who seriously want to take further steps into the film medium. It suits you who want to go deeper into the skills you already have and want to create movies tutored by professional filmmakers. The course is for those who want to get a network of like-minded people with the same serious interest in filmmaking. The course suits you who do not have the time or economy to take our longer full-time film education. The course is for those who want ten intense weeks of film.

Application to participate in the Film School’s course Intenzio shall be made through the form above and be provided to the school at the given date of deadline which is September 1st 2017.
Applicants who are admitted to the course will be notified by e-mail to the address submitted in the application.
Upon completion of the course, a course certificate will be issued to the participant.
Total course fee is 24.000 SEK, including a registration fee of 6.000 SEK.
If you are admitted to the Stockholm Film School’s Intenzio course after an interview, you accept the vacancy latest by September 25 by paying a registration fee of 6.000 SEK (invoiced with admission notice).
Remaining course fee (18.000 SEK) is invoiced at the start of the course, with expiration date 14 days ahead.
There is a possibility of payment in parts. Partial payment is granted after the usual credit check. In case of a partial payment, an administration fee of 1.050 SEK will be added, and the total course fee will then be 25.050 SEK.
The course fee is invoiced to the student or to a by the student advised firm or legal person. In the event of non-payment by invoice, statutory fees will be charged.
If an applicant who has been accepted to the school and paid the admission fee decides not to start the course, the film school must be notified as soon as possible, at the very latest September 29, or s/he is obliged to pay the remaining tuition fee of 18.000 SEK according with the sent invoice.
Regardless of when the above mentioned notification has been received by the Film School, the registration fee will not be refunded.
